StateGuard Supports Epworth’s Fundraising Event for Pancreatic Cancer

15 February 2025

At StateGuard Protective Services, we believe in standing strong for the communities we serve. That’s why we are proud to support Lunch by the Yarra, hosted by the Epworth Medical Foundation, a spectacular fundraising event dedicated to raising awareness and funds in the fight against pancreatic cancer.

This uplifting and optimistic event is more than just a fundraiser—it’s an opportunity to enjoy the best of Melbourne while making a real impact. Lunch by the Yarra will take place on Friday, 28 February 2025, from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm at ZINC, Federation Square, offering a scenic and elegant setting alongside the Yarra River.

Why This Event Matters
Pancreatic cancer is one of the most challenging cancers to detect and treat, often diagnosed at an advanced stage. All proceeds from Lunch by the Yarra will directly benefit the Jreissati Pancreatic Centre at Epworth, which is dedicated to improving patient care and advancing research to create better outcomes for those battling this disease.

A Star-Studded Afternoon
The event promises an unforgettable afternoon with a fantastic line-up of speakers, including:

· Scott Cam – Renowned television presenter and host of The Block

· Mick Doohan AM – Former Grand Prix Motorcycle Road Racing World Champion

· Ann Peacock as the MC
