We guarantee that your cameras are positioned to protect your property while respecting your neighbours’ “reasonable expectation of privacy.” We ensure cameras are never positioned to face into their windows or private-use areas.

Yes. Every member of the StateGuard installation team is fully licensed and registered by the Victoria Police Licensing & Regulation Division. This is a legal requirement, and we are proud to provide our registration details upon request. We do not use unlicensed subcontractors.

To ensure you are fully compliant with Victorian law, our systems are installed with audio recording disabled by default. It is illegal in Victoria to record a private conversation you are not a party to, and our professional-grade solution protects you from this legal risk.

While wireless cameras are easy to install, StateGuard strongly recommends hard-wired (PoE – Power over Ethernet) systems. A wired solution is far more reliable, provides a stable, high-quality image, and is not vulnerable to Wi-Fi dropouts or signal jammers. It is the professional standard for genuine security.
